We tried to hold off as long as possible, but James' hair has been a mess.
It was starting to get in his eyes, over his ears, and past his collar.
The whole family stopped by Great Clips on the way to my nephew's birthday party last night. James had his first haircut three days shy of 14 months old. The haircut took less than 10 minutes and cost $11. James sat in my lap. He stayed fairly still throughout the haircut.
We let him have the traditional DumDum after his haircut. It was probably the greatest moment of his life,
which was followed by the worst moment when we took the stick away.
